Three Cool Things I Want To Do At Space Camp
Posted on | November 10, 2008
There are 3 cool things I want to do while i’m at space camp. First, I want to go on the multi-axis trainer. I’m really scared on going upside down, and I think that could help me. Second, I want to go into the 1/6 gravity trainer. It seems like fun to bounce around. Third, I want to do the G-force accelerator. I have tried before, but I got scared and left. I hope your donations will help me do these things!

Know The Planets: Venus
Planet Discovered: Unknown. Since Venus can be seen without a telescope, It’s hard to tell who saw it first!
Year: 224.65 Earth days
Day: 243 Earth days
Venus:
Venus is the second closest planet to the sun. It has a diameter of 7700 miles. Venus is sometimes called Earth’s Sister Planet because they are similar in size, though Venus is slightly smaller. The planet is named after Venus, the Roman goddess of love (In Greek, it would be Aphrodite). Venus appears to be the brightest star in the sky, but it is a planet. The first mission to Venus was the Venera 1 space probe, launched on February 12, 1961. JAXA, in Japan, has planned to launch thier Venus climate orbiter, The PLANET C, in 2010. Hi!

This is Annie. This is my first post here! The point of this site is to earn enough money to send me to Space Camp at the Hunstville Space And Rocket Center. I live right outside of Huntsville, so airline charges won’t be an issue. Well, on the right there is a picture of a rocket. If you click the text next to it, it will take you to a page where you can donate money! Thank you to all who donate! Hopefully, by next summer I will have enough money to send me to Space Camp! Please enjoy the site! If you have any questions go to the contact page to send a message. Bye!
